Some have high efficiencies and lots of heat, while others can be more decorative. Each manufacturer has a plethora of different fronts, media/Logs, and interior refractories. It is almost overwhelming with all the options that are available now, but we are here to guide you through the process and help with how you can vent the fireplace with all the proper clearances. All the units have glass fronts and are required to have safety screens by the government. Fresh air for the unit is drawn from outside, so there is no air loss from your house. Gas is a great way to zone heat an area of your house and brings that warm, cozy feeling of a wood fire without all the work.
