Pellet Stoves, Inserts, and Accessories

Pellet stoves have been around since the 1980s, but those stoves are nothing compared to the modern pellet stoves offered at Berkshire Hearth & Home. Our stoves are the most self-sufficient in the industry.  A pellet stove is a machine that will burn pellets (compressed sawdust) at a controlled rate in a vacuum-sealed environment.  Pellet stoves are convenient and cleaner to operate than your traditional wood stove. We offer freestanding and insert pellet stoves in a variety of sizes and styles.  This includes cast and steel pellet stoves. The cast stoves come in enamel, and the steel stoves can be painted in many colors using high-temperature stove paint. We pride ourselves on the quality and durability of the pellet stoves we offer.

A pellet stove generally will give out about half the BTU that a wood stove will, but it delivers consistent heat  because of its controlled environment. Whatever setting you have the stove on will continue to produce that same amount of heat as long as there are pellets in the hopper.

The main component of a pellet stove is the hopper, which is where the pellets are held. The combustion motor blows out the exhaust. The convection motor blows the heat into the room.  The Auger feeds the pellets to the Burn Pot, where the pellets burn. Finally, the ignitor automatically lights the pellets. Our pellet stoves offer various safety features that make our stoves perfect for young kids and operate 24/7. You will be more than happy with one of our pellet stoves heating your home.  Come down and see the quality with your own eyes at our showroom!
