▸Wood, pellet, or gas — which is right for me?
It depends on how you heat and how hands-on you want to be. Wood offers classic warmth and the lowest fuel cost but takes the most work. Pellet stoves are automatic and efficient. Gas gives you an instant flame at the push of a button. Visit our Getting Started page or the showroom and we'll help you compare.
▸Do you install what you sell?
Yes. Our own experienced team handles installation — professional, tidy, and with a full walkthrough of how to operate your new stove before we leave.
▸Do you service stoves after the sale?
Absolutely. When you buy from us, you can expect support from a knowledgeable hearth expert for the lifetime of your stove — including service calls when something needs attention.
▸Can you convert my wood fireplace to gas?
In most cases, yes. A gas insert or gas log set can transform an existing wood-burning fireplace into clean, convenient heat. Bring us your fireplace dimensions (or a photo) and we'll recommend options.
▸Do you sell pellets and coal?
Yes — we stock quality wood pellets, pellet accessories, and anthracite coal at the shop so you can stay supplied all season.
▸Where are you located?
We're at 121 Mt Pleasant Rd, Newtown, CT 06470, just off Exit 9 on I-84. We encourage you to visit — there's no substitute for seeing our stoves and fireplaces burning in person. Hours are Monday–Friday 10am–5pm, Saturday 10am–4pm, and Sundays by appointment.
